The Nordic landscape changes quickly. Weather moves across mountains and coastlines, low sun reshapes the terrain, and snow can turn familiar places into almost abstract forms. That changing light is central to Anders Jorulf's landscape photography.
Lofoten and Senja
Northern Norway brings together steep mountains, open sea and rapidly shifting weather. In Lofoten and Senja, the relationship between land and water creates strong natural lines, while low-angle light can separate ridges, snow and clouds with unusual clarity.
Sweden and Finland
Further east, the visual character often becomes quieter: winter forests, open snowfields, coastlines and long horizons. Jämtland, Lapland and Ostrobothnia offer a different kind of scale — less dramatic in form, but often stronger in atmosphere.
A Nordic visual language
Across these locations, the recurring elements are space, weather, restraint and light. The result is photography designed to work both as a record of place and as a large-format fine art object.
